Os Activated Carbon Filters Linter Filters are used when there is a need to attenuate different odors (organic or inorganic), such as: body odors, cigarettes, grease, solvents, pesticides, etc.

A specific type of activated carbon will be required for each application, so always consult our technical department.

* It is important to have one or more pre-filters before applying carbon filters to avoid carbon contact with solid particles.

Models

  • Activated Carbon Air Filter PL-AC
  • Manufactured with frames in galvanized steel sheet or wooden frame. Flat configuration.

  • Activated Carbon Air Filter ES-AC
  • Made with a rigid cardboard frame with a filter element (synthetic mat) impregnated with particles of activated carbon. Flat configuration.

  • Activated Carbon Air Filter FP-AC
  • Manufactured with compressed filter media and mounted in the form of “V” plates inside the injected polystyrene frame and reinforced in steel plate.

  • N-AC Activated Carbon Air Filter
  • Manufactured with compressed filter media and mounted in the form of “V” plates inside the wooden frame. This allows greater robustness to the filter.

Filter Media

  • Activated Carbon Air Filter PL-AC
  • Filter media in activated carbon granules. The type of activated carbon will depend on the application for which the filter will be used.

  • Activated Carbon Air Filter ES-AC
  • Filter media in pleated polyester fiber mat, impregnated with activated carbon. A thermal process adheres the activated carbon particles to the synthetic fibers, keeping the carbon in place, without the use of adhesives. This process maximizes the charcoal surface area that is exposed to odors.

  • Activated Carbon Air Filter FP-AC / N-AC
  • Filter media in activated carbon granules that receive a specific chemical treatment for certain applications.

Main Applications

  • Return air conditioning installations;
  • Renewal of external air;
  • Adsorption of smoke odors (cigarette, grease);
  • Adsorption of solvents in paint installations;
  • Adsorption of chemical gases (chlorine, hydrocarbon, etc.).

Notes

For each application of this filter, the activated carbon receives a specific chemical treatment. We manufacture other models of activated carbon filters to suit different types of equipment (Examples: Agricultural industry, air circulators, etc…)
